Altered Book - Alice Tea Party

 

 Hello everyone!

 

 I was inspired to create another book in Altered Art.

This time the theme is Alice in Wonderland,

 the mad cult story that has inspired generations,

 there are so many sayings you can use to create a project and tell a story.

- At last we thought you'd never arrive -

that was my inspiration motto  today.

 

At Dusty Attic you can find a lot of matching parts to this story. 

And I didn't only find amazing mushrooms or the classic hat 

under the heading Down the Rabbit Hole.

A secret door - Moodboard Dusty Attic

  Hello everyone!

 

Have you seen the latest chipboards - Fairy Doors and Mushroom clusters - ???

Simply magical!!

Love this fantasy theme, it's absolutely inspiring for me.

I created a canvas in mixed media style, worked with dried natural bark,

which represents an old tree with a secret door hidden inside.

I wonder who goes in and out there? 😃

 I was thrilled to create a canvas in sea inspired mixed media style.

 

Combined cutting dies, silicone moulds, the very thin chipboards, great!!

Forest Dreams with Dusty Attic

 

Welcome creative friends!

 

 I created a mixed media canvas in fantasy style and chose a magical forest theme.

Love the selection

 Foliage, Flowers & Branches

at Dusty Attic, all the chippies are very natural and inspiring for me. 

They are a good addition if you want tell stories from your last hiking tour or

the last discovery tour with your kids, but always very suitable

for magical fairytales too.

 

 

I worked with papers and transpareny foil from 13arts,

some cutting dies, flowers and floristic materials.

Night of a full moon with 13arts

 

Welcome creative friends!

 

Have you ever experienced the magical aura of the full moon?

I discovered an enchanted figure on a meadow 😀 

Was that reality or a dream?

 

As I saw the amazing background paper 'In the woods' 

from the 'Queen of the Night' my imagination was awakened

 and I was inspired to create a mixed media layout.

Together with this great Dark Queen motif from this collection 

a meadow in moonlight was created.

 

To make the queen look even more alive, she got a shimmering skirt

 made of wide ribbon and small green feathers, as well as transparent wings.

 Besides papers from 'Queen of the Night ' collection I also used

papers and elements from 'Aurora', also a very suitable collection for fantasy stories

in addition transparency foil, stencils, glitter ink and floristic materials

Queen of Darkness - New Release with 13arts

Have you already discovered the new collections at 13arts???

a real secret tip, my vote  : 

 

Absolutely recommendable!!! 

 

I started with the 'Queen of the Night', this collection has something

 mysterious and magical about it. Elements like a romantic old gate, 

a weathered stone staircase or old trees stimulate my imagination. 

 

 

I created a mixed media layout in fantasy style. 

I guess I had Maleficent in back of my mind, 

the famous dark fairy from the Walt Disney movie.

I combined different elements from this beautiful collection with each other. 

The beautiful gate on vellum paper, Emphemera parts, 

cutouts and two background papers.
