Halloween - Haunted Manor

Hi friends!

And with this story of the "haunted house" from my friend Claudia
began the extraordinary making of a very special house
oder auch hier
die Donnerwetter - dolle Hütte genannt ;-).

Das verwunschene Haus
Schon immer, scheints, stand an des Waldes Saume,

umhüllt von Brombeerranken, ein Gemäuer,

als wäre es entstiegen finstrem Traume.

Noch keinem Wandersmann wars dort geheuer,

der hoffnungsvoll drin Schutz und Raststatt suchte,

sich aufzuwärmen an der Stube Feuer.

Warn auch die Wandrer noch so wildverruchte -

schlugs zwölfe erst vom Kirchhof her im Turme,

da regte sich das Haus, das langverfluchte:
......

Was soll man da noch neu erfinden???

  4. Oh my goodness Kerstin, your house is fabulous!! I love the brickwork, the amazing roof and the molded tree roots look absolutely amazing - they add so much to the original design! Not sure about that huge spider near the front door though.....

Thanks so much for joining in our Crazy for Colour Challenge at A Vintage Journey. Anne xx

  5. Ask??? Ask, you say? Can I have this? There, I asked! Kerstin, this is one amazing haunted house; every single details screams decay, and adding those roots reaching up from the ground to entwine the falling down house is PURE CREATIVE GENIUS! You have totally blown me away, and I bow to your spookyiness! I am thrilled you shared this in my 'Tis Near Halloween challenge at Frilly and Funkie! Hugs! Sara Emily
